The Subway
I have had this subway to blog since mid-September and then blah, blah, 'work', blah, blah 'real life' etc. Anyway, with the spooky season upon us I thought it the perfect time to show you this awesome FNY Designs backdrop called The Abandoned NYC Subway Station.
"Step into the eerie allure of a forgotten subway station from the heart of New York City with our 3D backdrop/skybox for Second Life. Perfect for both photo shoots and immersive role-playing sims, this intricately designed backdrop features an old, partially open and barred entrance to the subway station, evoking a sense of urban decay and abandonment.
Within its depths lies an antiquated New York subway car, the whole station is adorned with graffiti and littered with remnants of the past – from discarded newspapers to empty bottles and coffee cups, adding to the authenticity of its desolate ambiance. The atmosphere is dark, slightly unsettling, capturing the essence of a forgotten era beneath the bustling streets above. Whether you're seeking to add depth to your virtual photography or create a hauntingly immersive role-playing environment, this subway station backdrop promises to transport you to the eerie underbelly of New York City's past."
The two parts I am showing you are just small portions of the whole piece.
The first is taken inside the train and I have added some litter on the floor and some trash bags, and that is it. The rest is all the grungy look and vibe of this fab scene.
The second part is the entranceway to the subway which then leads down the stairs and into the main train station area. It is exactly as the blurb above describes and this is the perfect piece for any role-play area that needs that realistic decrepit look or if you need a great background for a photo that needs grime!
Head on over to the FNY Designs mainstore and take a look for yourself.
