Call Me Maybe

I am waiting for a call, but I am not sure if this phone even works. At least there is a kitty for me to play with while I wait. He is super cute.

I am also feeling super cute today and also very excited as I get to join the team in blogging some items from this round of SWANK which is aptly titled 'Renew Yourself'. There are plenty of items for men, women, and your home that will allow you to do just that.

I am feeling very renewed in this Whisper Shape for AK WendyAdvX from { wren's nest }. I grabbed the free Wendy head when they came out and am delighted to show it to you with the lovely shape to go with!

The thing I love about { wren's nest } shapes is that they come in a variety of sizes so you can pick the one that suits you. I am wearing the Whisper Tall, but you will also find Petite, Proportional, SM Proportional, and Thicker as options in the pack. I am also wearing the eyebrows that came with the shape. 

There is a style card in the pack and I have tried to match it as best as possible to show you how the face should look. The skin I am wearing is not exactly the same, but from the same store, so it is pretty close. In my next post I will give you a close-up of the face. 

The other thing that is awesome about { wren's nest } shapes is that you can try on a demo before you buy. Not many shapes places do this, but I really appreciate it because sometimes the shape looks great in the photo, but does not suit your look. Also many designers focus on the head and not the body. Wren focuses on the whole package and I love the shapes she creates for all the different heads! Arya and Tyson are going to show you some of Wren's shapes for the Vela and Rune heads, so keep an eye out. 

However, I wanted to also show you this lovely Yvette outfit from GAW, so I needed a full body shot because the pack includes the dress and boots. Both come with a hud so you can change the colour and texture of parts of each item. I added some tights for a slightly more wintery look. 

I am wearing the Lara X version, but it also comes in Legacy, Nhumana, Reborn, Perky, and Lara X Petite, so it should be easy to find something for you. Make sure you try on the demo before you buy!

I would also like to say 'Na, na, na, na, na!' to Tyson and Arya because I got this post in first!
