Let Summer Begin

I feel like there hasn't been a lot of focus on summer in SL yet. I keep waiting for all the fun beachy seasonal items to flood the stores, but I just haven't seen a lot yet.

Lucky for you, I am about to change that with some items from two of my favourite stores. 

From CHEZ MOI we have the Mare Beach Set at Equal 10 which is just perfect for relaxing on the beach, by the pool, or anywhere where you can soak up some sun in comfort.

The set comes with beach chairs in PG and adult, the cooler, and the table. There is also a hud so you can pick the colours of your chairs to match your other decor. 

Of course, with any CHEZ MOI items it is the hidden parts that make it even more awesome.

The chairs come with 42 single animations (female and male animations), 36 couple animations, and 50 adult animations. I love that I can throw on some sunblock, check my messages, throw back a cold drink, and even get my groove on with the singles animations or get my groove on with the couples/adult animations, if you know what I mean...

I can also grab a drink from the cooler which I can just touch to access the menu. There are loads of sodas and ciders to choose from and you simply select the one you want and 'voila' it is in your hand ready to drink.

But, wait, there's more!  I can also touch the table to access a menu in case I get snackish (I will) so I can grab a sandwich or a piece to fruit.

Then from Serenity Style I have two fabulous, must-have beach items with the The Way Home Lighthouse and the Beach Mode Sign. 

The lighthouse has a working light and would look amazing on a beach, on a cliff, or even offshore on rocks. I think lighthouses add drama to any seaside sim or scene and this one would certainly do that. I love the rustic red and white paint in the traditional style. The Beach Mode Sign is an exclusive gift for the SL23B Shop and Hop, so it is FREE!  I love that this modifiable so I can change the base sand to match all my other sand, but you could easily just use it as is to add a touch of colour to your seaside scene.
