Unique

I love being unique. When I was growing up I wanted to be like everyone else.  I wanted so much to fit in but, as I have got older, I don't want to be one of the crowd.  My favourite quote from Dr Seuss is "Why fit in when you were born to stand out?" It has become my mantra.  It is okay that I am not like everyone else, that I am not beautiful or super intelligent or that I don't dress like everyone around me. 

I am me, and I am okay with that.
