It is Beginning to Feel a Lot

In Aryaland it is summer and it is hot and I am grumpy. I do not like summer, Sam-I-Am, I do not like the whole sha-bang. It is all beginning to feel a lot.

If you have been with me for a while, you will have all the same complaints each year, but for those that are new, here is my list of reasons why I hate summer.

1. The heat - I do not like the heat and I do not like trying to sleep when the mattress feels like lava.
2. The sun - The sun is hot and it burns. I avoid it at all cost and stay inside with the air con set to a tolerable 17C (62F).
3. Mosquitoes - How can anyone like a season that brings out vampire bugs who whine in your ear at night?
4. The beach - For some reason the expectation is that we will all head to the beach in summer, when this is the last place I will go. I do not like sand. It gets everywhere. I especially do not like sand that is so hot that it is trying to become glass. 
5. People - -I live in a place where people like to come and stay over the summer period. They come with their big city mentality and complain when the cafes are overflowing. They do not realise that they are the cause of that. They are also very peopley, and I do not like that at all.

Have I been accused of being a vampire?  Yes, every summer. We have a lot in common. We avoid the sun, we prefer darkness and we have a penchant for wearing black. 

What any of that has to do with this fabulous scene, I cannot remember. I started writing and suddenly it became an anti-summer rant. 

It is lucky I like Christmas and my favourite one I had was in Canada in the snow. This is where this scene would be!
